Step 1: To get started, you first need to specify a name for the color table.



Step 2: Next specify the initial value for the table in the "Point Value" box.




Step 3: After setting the first point value, you will need to specify the color for that value. This can be done by manually entering the RGBA values or clicking Get from Cursor. By clicking get from cursor the program will obtain the RGB values from the mouse while on the primary monitor. To save the value obtained click the spacebar.




Step 4: (Optional) To obtain a color gradient, you must click "Check for Gradient" which will enable RGBA2. To obtain the RGBA2 value, follow the same steps above.


Step 6: To save the data point to the table click "Add Line". If you want to remove a point highlight the line in the table, then click "Remove Line". Repeat steps 2 through 6 to fill in the rest of the table.




Step 7: Once the table is complete fill out click the "Next" button.




Step 8: On the color table preview window, you can make any modifications directly to the table if needed. 




Step 9: After you are finished making any changes, click finish and choose a location to save the file.




Step 10: After saving the file, load it into WSV3.
